Mechatronic Engineering Student

about hans
Raihan Bisma Adiananta, better known as Hans, is a mechatronics student at SMK SMTI Yogyakarta with a growing passion for technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. His technical skillset spans microcontroller programming (Arduino, ESP32), 3D modeling using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, basic PLC programming (OMRON & Siemens), IoT, and introductory AI development.
Beyond engineering, Hans is also passionate about business. He once founded and managed a small business selling kombucha tea and yogurt, which allowed him to develop practical skills in team management, marketing, leadership, and product development. This early entrepreneurial experience sharpened his ability to lead and take initiative—skills that complement his technical capabilities.
Hans is also active in organizational and extracurricular activities. During his second year of high school, he was part of the student council (OSIS), joined the research and science club (KIR), and served as the head of the Japanese language extracurricular club. Through these roles, he improved his leadership, public communication, and project planning skills.
He has also been trusted to lead and manage various school and department projects, particularly those related to mechatronics, giving him a strong foundation in both teamwork and technical execution under pressure.
Known for his energy, adaptability, and continuous drive to grow, Hans combines engineering expertise with leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. This portfolio highlights his journey, showcasing not only what he’s built, but also who he’s becoming a future innovator ready to make real world impact through technology and business.

hans projects
alcohol detector
A collaborative project between two departments at Industry technology vocational school Yogyakarta Analytical Chemistry and Mechatronics Engineering aimed to develop an alcohol detection device integrated with a website, allowing the results to be displayed in real time. This project was showcased at the P5 Exhibition (Pancasila Student Profile Reinforcement Project) and attracted numerous visitors, including officials from the Ministry of Industry.
In this project, Hans played the role of a drafter, responsible for designing the shape, structure, and detailed dimensions of the device. With great attention to detail, Hans was able to optimize the device’s form to suit laboratory environments, which often differ from standard workspaces. In addition to drafting, he was actively involved in discussions with department heads and external vendors, ensuring that the final design met both functional and ergonomic requirements.

Delivery box
Similar to the alcohol detection project, this was also a class project presented at the P5 Exhibition (Pancasila Student Profile Reinforcement Project). In this project, Hans’s class developed a delivery robot capable of transporting items from anywhere to anywhere within the Industry technology vocational school Yogyakarta area. Once commanded, the robot could navigate autonomously to its destination.
Hans was the one who proposed the idea of a delivery robot, replacing the original concept of a floor-cleaning robot. He also served as the drafter, preparing the idea, concept, and mechanical system design of the device. Based on his vision, the robot would ideally be able to climb and descend stairs, considering the school building has three floors. However, due to time and budget limitations, the final version of the robot was only able to navigate throughout the entire first floor of the school.
Thanks to the strong collaboration within the class team, the project was selected to represent mechatronic engineering department Industry technology vocational school Yogyakarta at a national exhibition held by the Ministry of Industry in Solo.

school lesson project
Learning at Industry technology vocational school Yogyakarta is quite different from other schools, as we use a weekly block system for our technical subjects. In one week, we study the material at the beginning of the week, then take final assessments in the middle and at the end of the week. The following week will cover different material. It is also common for us to work on final projects and present them in front of the class.
On my project page, I will explain in more detail what I have done and created at school in terms of weekly subject projects, excluding event or research projects.
